It all began with an idea. We wanted to photograph some important milestones while contributing back to our communities all while having a bit of fun.

Keeping it Local

Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, we have witnessed firsthand the many phases this community has gone through. From baggy pants to skinny jeans and pagers to smartphones, a lot has changed in the last 30 years. Since our group all graduated from SGV over the years, we haven’t lost touch with our roots. Before starting YourHS, we were professional photographers working locally and around the country in industries that included wedding, product, commercial, and sports photography. That same 15 years of combined experience and expertise is used to train all our photographers to snap the perfect shot of your loved one.

Professional and Friendly Photographers

The folks here at YourHS are your school photographers for the entire year. From registration, dances, school functions, sports, and all the way to graduation, your kids will recognize and be comfortable working with friendly YourHS photographers all throughout the year. One of the key things we look for in our photographers is how well they interact with students so that students aren’t as camera-shy. Each photographer is also trained to use some of the most sophisticated cameras and equipment that is available in the photography industry.

Every memorable event will be recorded and can be shared with you and your family for a lifetime. Parents and students can always keep track of images on our secured online website and order prints at any time [with some of the latest software that is out there for school photography professionals.] 

Not Your Ordinary Studio

We offer on-site studio sessions without the cheese.  As we are trained lighting experts, this allows us to get as artistic and dramatic as requested during each studio shoot.  Our experienced photographers are always striving to “wow” everyone with amazing photos and won’t settle for anything less.  We utilize and combine studio and location photography to capture each student in a new light with his/her individuality shining through.  We try to keep things fun and keep it real.  

Art in Motion

Action shots are some of our favorite types of shots. The ability to freeze high-speed moments into a snapshot is worth a thousand words. Many of these sports moments are hard to come by, so our photographers know what to focus on during games. From epic football catches to photo finishes down the track, we strive to preserve these memories for a lifetime.

We create and capture awesome portraits that defy the standards of tradition. We try to keep things fun and keep it real. Utilizing and combining studio and location photography, our goal is to envision each student in a new light with his/her real and authentic personality.
